I went out with a buddy the other night and we blasted a bunch of stuff with
the AR-50. For the record: I'd like to say that I have adult feelings for this
rifle! We didn't even think about filming anything until about an hour before
sunset but here's what I have...

The first object we "tested" was a solid block of concrete about 14"W x 14"L and
30"H. From 180 yards using an perfectly legal round, the block was cut in half
and the bullet didn't even think about slowing down until it hit the hill behind
the target! Sweet Jebus!!

Here's the information about the ArmaLite AR-50 rifle.

After completely destroying a weight set, we decided that shooting various types
of large rocks was the most fun (mostly due to their abundance). Here's the first
video clip from last night's debauchery. The shot was taken
at about 200 yards. Watch the rock at the bottom of the stump.

The next clip shows a large rock (about 10"-12" in diameter)
being vaporized by yours truly. I used a standard shell and the shot was taken from
about 200 yards.

I thought I had seen a lot of sparks upon impact, so we slowed the film
down a bit and found a nice frame from the movie showing the bullet (or what's left of it)
fragmenting and the rock exploding. It's a great picture!

If anyone wants me to post more pictures of us out blasting stuff with high-power
weapons just lemme know - I'll post 'em here if folks are interested =)
